About Me
As far back as I can remember I have had a passion for old cars. From the first time I saw American Graffiti the passion for car culture, hot rodding and competition was deeply instilled. Growing up in West Sussex, Goodwood Motor Circuit was on my doorstep. With the growing popularity of historic motorsport, my passion for cars and motorsport history drew me in, and since 2011 I’ve worked directly in the historic vehicle industry for a restoration and race preparation company. Through my family I also have roots in Southern California and have recently made Los Angeles my home.
I am an automotive writer and content creator. I am a regular contributor to Petrolicious with both online content and writen features for their quarterly magazine ‘Drive Tastefully’. I also have a book published with Crowood Press titled, ‘How To Prepare a Historic Racing Mini’. With nearly 10 years experience in the historic vehicle industry my writing offers a unique perspective with a depth of technical knowledge. My writing focuses predominantly on historic vehicles, car culture and motorsport history.
Autmotive history is my passion. I am experienced in researching the history of significant vehicles for accurate restoration and race preparation. Getting the details right for any significant vehicle is essential so proper historical research is invaluable. If you require FIA HTP papers for a non-homologated historic race car then a well presented history file is the only way to achieve this.
